The 133rd winner of the 'New 2000 Guineas Stakes', held on Wednesday 30th April 1941 over the Bunbury Mile of the July Course, was Lambert Simnel (10/1), a bay colt by Fair Trial out of Simnel, owned by the 2nd Duke of Westminster. The winner won by 2 lengths in 1 minute 42.60 secs, with a length and a half back to the third. A field of 19 runners contested the race which was worth £7500 (Equivalent to £385,600 in 2017)
